From 1996 to 2001, I covered a wide range of protest mouvements in and around Montreal. Protesting became a (sub)culture of its own for many Montrealers, until September 11 (2001). Things turned around drastically on that day, protesters became an enemy against the state.

This series covers student protests in Montreal and Quebec cities against cuts to Education and the anti-FTAA protest in Quebec city, in 2001.
