With opening up the new studio I find myself having a bit more free time for myself (sometimes, that is!). And I’m taking the time now to refocus my energies on projects that have been sitting in the back of my mind for ages.
Florence is a French table-top, textile and set stylist, and we often worked on paid assignments for clients… and it felt like a tease where we had lots of fun creating the photos, but we wanted even more. Florence and I often discussed doing still-life photography and building a stronger and stronger portfolio.
Recently our little project has turned into a bit more of an obsession with texture. It’s all about texture. And some of the best examples of plays of textures are with cosmetics still-lifes… so it felt natural that we’d just jump right in.
Here’s the results of our first tests, and I would say “expect more” as we fine tune our skills and ideas!
